Is there something you would like to be the Captain of? Your Team? Your Boat? Your Club?

I've been a Captain at St Pat's, Mardi Gras, 4th of July, Christmas, Gator Tailgates, and much more in the last ten years. I did not plan it, it evolved. In 2016 I made a pedicab into a BoatBike to roll with the VFW in the Irish Channel St Patrick's Day Parade. As one would do when they live in New Orleans. 

While my homeport is now in Florida, the Boatbike has travelled far and wide. When I wanted to have an appropriate captain's hat for an occasion - St Pats in SAV, Gator Tailgating in GNV, 4th of July at JAX Beach, Gasparilla in TPA, etc, I'd buy another hat, order a patch, pull out my sewing kit, and then spend an hour sewing it on poorly, occasionally stabbing my fingers with a needle. Then I'd have a dilemma for the next event - buy another hat or seam rip off the old patch and sew on another.  

Still the outcome, a custom captain hat, was cool. People would ask me - "Where did you buy that hat?" They were disappointed when I told them the steps involved. Buying is easy, sewing is harder. If only there was an easy way...
